Just e-mailed Rush, Demanding an Apology

Who wants to join me? Here's what I sent.

"As you can see Rush, I am an active duty Naval Officer. Since you seem to support the troops so much, I ask the following:

- Apologize for the fraudulent story you've been peddling regarding the Republican Memo. Be that beacon of truth you claim to be and admit that you were wrong, and your only desire was to discredit Democrats. We all know the memo came from Senator Mel Martinez's office.

- Apologize for calling me an "American hating, socialist", that "wants more American troops killed in Iraq".

Since I am a registered Democrat, I'm sure you have that opinion of me, but I've spent more than 20 years of my life proudly serving my country.

My contact info is below. I would be happy to speak with you on air, and I look forward to your public apology."

but I doubt Rush cares anything about anyone other than himself and his pills and how popular he can become spewing hatred and lies.

3. rush doesn't have to apologize. see, he's el rushbo. mr. genius.

can't pick a wife, but he can pick apart foreign policy. played top 40 records for 20 years, but is on top of political theory and thought now. can't seem to shake an addiction to opiates, but shakes up the world with his blinding insights.

he's like the rest of them ... special. above everyone else. barely mortal. or is that barely human?

good email, unfortunately it will likely go unanswered since it would entail Rush actually thinking and accepting responsibility - two traits he clearly avoids at all costs . . . but if you do get a response, please share if you're inclined to do so . . .

6. He won't change or even acknowledge it

Instead he will change the story from "Democrats wrote the memo" to "Democrats are using the memo to smear their opponents," with no explanation of who actually wrote the memo.

Unless of course he decides to do a big crybaby correction and then go into how mean Democrats are.

10. Yeah. He's Special All Right

Special Ed. He clearly has an untreated learning disability. It's the only explanation as to why he knows so little and is so unaware of his own ignorance.
