What is with all of the DEATH symbols? Isn't the US was in Iraq to help?

3. Not to put too fine a point on it -

Death and destruction, and the threat thereof, are the primary product line of any military. Hence, their "jacks", slogans etc frequently reflect this fact.

The trick is to point them at the right target, and only as a last resort.
