"Vultures flying over a dying animal"
Am I the only person that felt like the media acted like vultures flying over a wounded animal? CNN was the first ones to take a peck after they reported the Pope was dead prior to his passing. They kept the cameras rolling up to the moment of his death which is disgusting.

What happened to respect?

1. Or Terry Schiavo?
Or anyone else famous who seems on the verge of death.

Journalists are trained animals that travel in packs and become rabid in close proximity to a story.

2. They reserved their vantage points, such as hotel roof tops..
a decade ago in some cases. I'm surprised no one tried to get a helicopter with a telescopic lens close enough to look into his rooms. At least they didn't have a clock running, like CNN did for a few minutes during the Starr inquisition of Clinton.

4. Wait until next weekend
The Weekly World News will be publishing them in their next issue.

5. I got the feeling
the reporters were thinking "Let go of the rope you old fart! I want to break the news NOW!" And then when it did happen they thought "Oh shit! Now what am I going to talk about?"
I was glad their "payoff" lasted but seconds.

Such a display is indecent as cameramen and reporters tap their feet impatiently waiting for a such a private, sacred act to occur so they can practically scream it out in joy.

Now the crocodile tears and cannonizing begins and will continue until something better comes along.
