It has been five hours
and MSNBC is still spinning the death of the Pope. I thought they would stop but no, they are going on and on and on. There is nothing new to say.

2. It'll be 24X7 Pope coverage until there is a new Pope
and after that there will be a couple of weeks where all they talk about is the new Pope.

3. I like the personal stories now more than the
"waiting for him to die" b.s. this time last night. Yes, it will be a long haul.

4. There are 1 billion Catholics who called him the Holy Father.
I think the number in the US is 60 million. Remember when Reagan died? He wasn't the president when it happened and it was wall to wall coverage.

5. I did not want to offend anyone
but I am offended with the cable news because they are exploiting the death of my Pope and I don't like that. If I felt they were doing this to inform I would be okay with it, but they are trying to make bucks, and I don't like it. I have nothing against the Pope, I liked him, disagreed, but liked him. The cable news is making a sham of all this.
