The 2005 Seal Hunt: We're There to Stop It

Tell Canada's Government to end the seal hunt. The largest commercial slaughter of marine mammals on the planet has begun. By the end of this year’s hunt, more than 300,000 seals will have been brutally killed—many of them babies as young as 12 days old. Some of them will have been skinned while still conscious and able to feel pain. Stand with us today and stop the seal hunt forever by joining the Canadian seafood boycott. 8. I respect your right to do that

as I am boycotting all products and business by US corporations that donated to the bush campaign out of principle. I also have not visited the US since bush was selected in 2000 much as I love visiting there. It would be hypocritical of me to decry your boycott on principle when I am doing exactly the same.

To be honest I never realized how difficult it is to boycott the corporations and their products when living in a small city of around 10,000 population. I have become a much more aware shopper as a result and that is a good thing!

I never heard of seal meat in any kind of food. So what do they use it for?
