About the autopsy

I am appalled that Terri Schiavo's parents are capitalizing on her dying breath.
I guess that is what drove her to an eating disorder and I feel badly for her.
I am not going to defend Michael as the best husband in the world, nor denigrate him as the worst because just as everyone else--we simply do not know. Most people hold their marital relationship in close confidence.
However, Terri married him for better for worse, in sickness and in health, til death do she part.
It seems to me that he has held his vows up.
He honors her by not allowing pictures of her to be taken,knowing that she would not want that. On the other side of the aisle, her parents are selling unauthorized and illegally obtained bedside pictures of her for $100.
He will honor her privacy by taking her forever away from these ghouls and giving her a sacred resting place. That makes me happy.
So many people think this is life or death, and it isn't. It's a matter of a husband honoring his ill wife.
Her parents have made this ugly. NOT him.
Her parents have turned it into a circus.
At one time, I felt bad for them, but that has long passed as you see them capitalizing on this and it is sickening.
Now, about the autopsy. I would be fearful that her brain will disappear (ala JFK) and be substituted with another brain so that these fundie critters can say--"see, we intervened because we were right--she wasn't brain dead!" This will be Bush's chance to redeem himself and I truly believe they will attempt something of the like.
I sincerely hope that he has an independent representative at every juncture of the autopsy assuring the chain of evidence is not broken and that we find the truth.
May Terri Schiavo rest in peace. It is long overdue and well deserved.

and giving them an opportunity to purchase a video trailer of her taken of her (those awful ones with her mother jumping in her face).

If the parents were really truthful about this they would've done something long ago. Maybe they never wanted her to be with him? That happens sometimes. And now they have the perfect chance to get back at him with the rightwingers and that's why they sold out. I think it's purely disgusting. In a lot of ways it's smart that Schavio is having her cremated so nobody can go to her grave and put shit on her graveside and her parents can't pump that up some more with video's and whatnot.
