4. Parents, definitely

From what I've seen, my perception is that Michael just wants this whole thing to be over with and get on with his life, though I don't know how easy that's gonna be given all those death threats. The parents are the one's dragging this out, and I say they're the first to come out with a book. If Michael comes out with one, it'll probably be in response to theirs.

Fundies are big spenders on their propaganda. They also aim to "win" by domination -- we can expect no fewer than ten books and two movies to promote their version of the episode.

The Schindlers will make a lot of money. Kind of ironic, since they blamed Michael Schiavo of exploiting his wife's condition for financial gain.

Michael Schiavo will make some money. He will also be pursued for decades. The fanatics have already promised to sue him into the poorhouse, and when he's broke, have him charged with dozens of counts of felony.

America's Taliban has the scent of blood in its nostrils, and will not rest until it is satisfied or stopped.

7. Parents probably already have it ghostwritten. just waiting to do the ...

final ending. The fundies that are backing them in this have more than likely thought ahead & gotten someone to ghostwrite it for them. I'd go so far as to speculate they end up a cottage industry after Mrs. Schiavo has finally found release. John Edwards (the hereafter tv guy) has said he's commnicating w/her, I'm certain they will also persue that avenue to keep pumping up the revenue. Book series, movie of the week, anything they can grab.

BTW - Can anyone tell me the difference between a (dot)net addy & a (dot)org addy? When you go to the family webpage that shows as a (dot)org the address bar shows it's actually a (dot)net. Curious.

14. Definitely the parents, then Felos

I'll bet the parents already have a deal with someone, either Harper/Collins (Hannity's publisher, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch), some catholic publisher or Zondervans. They'll have Randall Terry or Hannity or some right wing idiot write the forward, which will be a scathing indictment of the "culture of death".

Felos will write a book later, and write it in the context of Hopsices and the legal issues involved in death and dying. He won't need a celebrity-written forward.
