3. What about "last rites"? Isn't that the choice before death?

5. Yes, but Michael said she would receive it again before she died.
I heard that on CNN also. I had questioned how they were going to do that because Terri is said not to be able to swallow anything other than ehr own saliva.

Well, a report on CNN said they did administer Communion with a small drop of wine on her lips...there was no host used.

Yes, I suspect she is fairly close to the end now.

11. WTF??????????? I screamed bullshit at the top of my lungs
when I saw that, thank fully no one else was home.

How in the HELL did she swallow????

She can't swallow!!!!!!!!!!

they said "her mouth was too try for the wafer" (she's been on a feeding tube for how many years?)

but that she did take the communion wine?! again, WTF????

I hate these grandstanding, lying motherfuckers.

How can Fox put this shit out, TS swallowed communion wine. I hope these assholes rot in hell.

9. I've watched priests administer last rites
and usually they don't actually put the host into a comatose or brain damaged person's mouth. They may wet a corner of napkin with sacramental wine and touch such a patient's lips, but that depends on the flavor of priest. It's considered a "communion of intention" or some such rationale if partaking of even a small scrap of unleavened bread would pose an unacceptable choking risk.

Using this as any sort of proof that she can suddenly swallow will be debunked rather quickly, I think.

20. I agree but I think this was for the family
I think that it was seen as a comfort for her family, I feel sorry for all of them.

I heard last time someone tried to feed her orally, she almost died because she choked.

14. Rate the disturbance: They actually have inside info? vs.
vs. nothing they have inside info on this? or claim to?

The more I hear about Freeper contacts the less I hope for tomorrow.

15. The idea that Terri even NEEDED communion is absurd.
On a Catholic message board, people were ranting about her Easter duty; as if denying her communion would somehow jeopardize her soul.

16. She can't receive communion.
I read a while back that a priest delivered the last rites for her days ago. It's been done before, the other two times the feeding tube came out.

17. simple
they touch a small piece of wafer and a drop of water to her lip that`s all it would take and then the last rights. this is fitting to one who has suffered to much in her life ,she must be afforded this last act of compassion.

18. Her husband apparently...
....allowed her parents to bring in a priest who placed a drop of sacramental wine on Terri's tongue out of respect for her and their faith at Easter. No big deal, really, other than the fact that it was a nice gesture on his part.

No need to make more of it than it is.
