A 1997 US News article "Wonder Weapons"-take the reality check today
This is rich with names and dates in the history of US non-lethal weapons R&D.

Some of the acoustics based weapons are openly acknowledged to have come from Nazi sources and there is also acknowledgement of a covert non-lethal "arms race" between the old Soviet Union and the US-which we, of course, "won".

Non-lethal weapons and military units are deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq, this gives some idea of what these "wonder weapons" do to a human being. Btw, your local law-enforcement also has many of these non-lethal weapons, so do the Private Military Companies/PMC's.

I have a simple question-who were the people used as the experimental subjects in the R&D history of each and every one of these weapons?

1. Reality check #2: "Non-Lethal" and Directed Energy Weapons link
This is a very good resource website for researchers.

3. I'll bet a lot of the experimental human test subjects were US military
members and their families, used unwittingly as research subjects in a variety of "non-lethal" projects.
:grr:

I'll bet others were people in other institutions.
:grr:

Here at DU we have "debunkers" that ridicule asking questions of this sort. They are in the minority now as these types of questions have cleared any damn reality check you like.

Who were the people that provided the data base on the effects of these weapons for over 60 years?

4. Good article
This excerpt is particulary telling...

" By using very low frequency electromagnetic radiation--the waves way below radio frequencies on the electromagnetic spectrum--he found he could induce the brain to release behavior-regulating chemicals. "We could put animals into a stupor," he says, by hitting them with these frequencies. "We got chick brains--in vitro--to dump 80 percent of the natural opioids in their brains," Byrd says. He even ran a small project that used magnetic fields to cause certain brain cells in rats to release histamine. In humans, this would cause instant flulike symptoms and produce nausea. "These fields were extremely weak. They were undetectable," says Byrd. "The effects were nonlethal and reversible. You could disable a person temporarily," Byrd hypothesizes. "It like a stun gun."

Byrd never tested any of his hardware in the field, and his program, scheduled for four years, apparently was closed down after two, he says. "The work was really outstanding," he grumbles. "We would have had a weapon in one year." Byrd says he was told his work would be unclassified, "unless it works." Because it worked, he suspects that the program "went black." Other scientists tell similar tales of research on electromagnetic radiation turning top secret once successful results were achieved."

5. And the end result of projects like that one is our non-lethal arsenal.
Here, from the USAF, is a 1996 publication about that arsenal-from nine years ago.

How did the "researchers" establish their data bases?

6. To develop some of these weapons Nazi war criminals, some of them
Edited on Fri Mar-25-05 12:31 PM by bobthedrummer
sentenced to death at the Nuremberg Trials, were recruited and given jobs and identities as Americans working in national security. For example, former V.P. of Bell Aviation Walter Dornberger was the SS General in charge of production and construction at the Nazi Peenemunde terror rocket base (where he used slaves from the Dora camp) before he became a helicopter salesman for the Vietnam War.

In other cases Nazi "medical experimentation" research data was utilized. Hubertus Strughold is hailed as the father of Space Medicine by NASA. Before that honor, Hubertus Strughold was head of the Luftwaffe Institute for Aviation Medicine which performed terminal human experiments on slaves.

But, leaving aside who some of the researchers were, who were their test subjects?

We owe the survivors something.

7. When all kinds of radiation and experimental drugs were used on living
human beings in efforts to develop "wonder weapons", who were those subjects, where did they come from, how did they become involved?

We owe the survivors something more than "debunking" and ridicule, don't we?
