Lets shrink the MSM down to the point where we can drown it in the bathtub
Have you had enough? Have you had your fill of Fox/CNN/MSNBC whoring for the Bush cabal? Had enough of their shameless exploitation of a dying woman in Florida for commercial profit? Had enough of their cesspool of celebrity sex scandals and lurid murder trials while this country is being driven straight to hell by a bunch of psychotic delusional freaks that are hell bent in corrupting every institution of justice and fairness in this country?

Have you had enough that you will tell them that you will no longer be a part of their profit stream? That you will no longer be watching their ghoulish pornography of death? You will no longer listen to their lies and distortions and downright propaganda, their Goebbelization of the news?

Then turn them all off. Send them an e-mail that you are doing so. Copy their advertisers.

In their place, get your news from the net. Check out the thousands of news sources available in an instant.

There is nothing, I repeat, NOTHING that they offer that you need to see or hear. They have no value.

Stop feeding the hand that's squeezing the throat of this country.

3. I did that three months ago.
I don't even buy a newspaper anymore. I just get my news from the internet. I think we should set up an Academy of Journalism, like the Motion Picture Academy. We should reward the real journalists with awards and give booby prizes to the media whores after a humiliating ceremony. Maybe then they will eventually get the idea.

I really wish the Media Horses would come back or would that someone else pick up the guantlet and finish what the Horses started.

4. They are "the slime...
oozing out from your TV set". FZ

TV is a fool's paradise full of half truths and sensational sexual overtones. Pure garbage being poured into the minds of the non-thinkers.
We are a consumer oriented society. The USA citizen bends over and takes it up the collective mental ass constantly and loves it.
You are surrounded by sheep being fattened up for the karmic slaughter.

6. I let my subscription to the St. Pete Times expire
I usually pay by the year, and I sent a letter to the editor explaining that they used to be a fairly progressive paper. I noted with a change in editors last year that they took a decided turn to the right, and I wasn't going to renew. I also explained I was pissed off at their coverage of local elections.

They continued to send it for 6 weeks after it expired.

9. DOWN WITH FOX!
I, my freind, have been proudly FOX free going on three years now. I mean, I still hear things, and see ads because it is impossible to do so without isolation from society. Fox is what I call the lowest common denominator of television. Find the sleaziest subject one can ponder, and then exploit it in any way profitable. What was that show, Temptation Island? And what about American Idol? My boss loves that show. I find it kind of disturbing. Aparently they charge people money to call in and vote for the next American Idol. He said that last time they had something like 120,000,000 people call in. I'm not sure what they charge you, but even if it was only $1, thats 120,000,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF? Then people pay the company to advertise? How much profit is this show making?
Fox News is a giant convoy of trucks, overweight with their shipment of yesterdays cow manure.(LOTS OF BS!!!) They are the bastards who called the election for Bush in Florida which started this whole disgusting period in American history. I shall never forgive them and I hope somebody gives them anthrax or something(hopefully painful) that puts an end to their endless onslaught of propagana.
I feel that a straight up boycott of their filthy programming is the least we can do. Spread the word I say. Bad ratings means no money for them.

Oh yeah, and while we're at it, how about boycotting WAL-MART! I've been doing that for a month so far. I figure it's costing me about $20 a week more for supplies, but alot more of my money is going back into the community as opposed to some corporate suits bank account. That and Wal-mart treats their female employees like crap.

Oh, and one more thing, don't forget about "One thin dime day" April 14th!
