could it be that the Repugs are supporting this Schivo thing knowing full well the laws and the judges won't side with them. Rush blamed it on the judges and that the judges think they are running this country and not our elected officials. If they can keep pushing the fact that the judges are the bad guys - the next leap is to say that they are liberal judges appointed by Clinton/Democrats - then they say we need to take away the filibuster from the Democrats so we could get judges in that will "err on the side of life".

Unfortunately for the Repugs - the large majority of American People believe that this is a family matter and personal vs political. This could backfire - but do you think that Rove and Company thought it would play out in their advantage?
