Its no fun being a patient in a sub-acute unit of a nursing home. I know, I work in one. Her "existence" is a miserable one that I wouldnt want to happen to myself or anyone else.

3. I think that in truth, it is the battle they are enjoying. They do not

really care if she dies. This is a battle that they knew they were going to lose from the start..much like the Social Security bullcrap. Then they will have a martyr whose name they will be able to invoke during the '06 elections. This will be used particularly in the Florida elections in '06 when they try to unseat the Democratic incumbents.
It is a plan to be able to unseat anyone who did not go along with them and to blame the "activist" judges for the decisions.
It also has the additional side effects of taking bugman delay's ethical trials off the front pages. The thousands of anti-war protests barely got a blip on the news. We are not reading about the deaths in Iraq. We have not seen the explosion at the oil refinery in Texas on the front page..Could that happen in Alsaka if we drill there?..
What other news that should have been on the front page has been ignored in the days that Schaivo has been all over the news?
Terri Schiavo may end up gettng her wish, but the RW Fundie Repukes will still have used her and her parents to make as much hay out of her situation as they possibly could have.
