Giving money to the Dems - Who gets it now?

I tithe to the ACLU and the local Planned Parenthood group that does a terrific job serving women in a multi-state area.

During the campaign, I gave to the national Dems, the Kerry Campaign, local Dems, selected Congressional and Senate campaigns, and groups like Moveon and ACT.

With 2006 just around the corner, I'd like to get some opinions on where the most effective places are to put money to work now.

Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee seems an obvious top choice to me, but what do you all think?

1. Your local county Democratic party

and your local state Democratic party. Support the "farm team" of baby Democratic candidates that grow up to be big Democratic candidates!

4. Donate to a specific candidate you support

If you give to your local party, the DNC, or the Senatorial committee, your money goes to various things and candidates.

I'm only donating to specific candidates from now on or organizations that are consistent, like the ACLU. Moveon has gone mainstream and no longer opposes the Iraq war.

I'm not donating again to the DNC until they stop supporting the DINOs.
