Bill Frist is a heart surgeon not a neurologist. But even more disturbing to his medical colleagues is the fact that he has never examined Terri Schiavo nor looked at her lengthy medical records. It appears that Frist also disregarded the voluminous report on Schiavo prepared by Dr. Jay Wolfson, Schiavo's special guardian in 2003. Wolfson spent 30 days with Schiavo. And in his report, he points out that Schiavo makes noises regardless of whether somebody is in her room or not.

I think MSNBC should take steps to immediately cancel Joe Scarborough's show. It is a blatent right-wing show on the order of Fox News without a shred of credibility. I truly believe that Scarborough, like so many other faux newspeople, is on the Bush payroll to push the neocon's agenda in the media today. That MSNBC is allowing him to do so is shameful.

If Scarborough was so interested in defending the rights of a young woman and her death why doesn't he address the death of his intern in his office, his resigning from Congress, the cover-up of this poor woman's death and the total media black out of this event. Or is death of a young woman only significant if political hay can be made of it by the Christian Taliban? Joe is no different than the zealots that are picketing the hospice where Mrs. Shiavo is currently being denied the right to die in peace and dignity. Go join them and get off the airwaves.

Joe, call Bush, just have them send you check directly to your home - you have lost all objectivity, honesty, decency or ability to report on any issue with this administration.

I find this hypocrisy to be truly black-hearted. The Republicans and the neocons will use the judicial system (and hold it up as the beacon of what is right with this country) when the courts are used to steal an election but will denounce and blast the same system when it doesn't kowtow to the religious zealots on every issue.

We need journalists that are willing to report the news and let the viewer make up their own minds to the facts, not some shrill whining from a O'Reilly Wannabe pushing their own agenda and beliefs. Enough, already.
