Heston Reads the Bible
I was flipping channels last night around midnight (in DC) and on one of those PAX/UPN/WB type channels (I'm not sure which one) I stumbled upon an informercial for a set of DVDs showing Charlton Heston reading the Bible. Supposedly, he does it on location from various Biblical sites.

The funniest thing -- the infomercial was "hosted" by Pat Boone.

4. And God looked down and said...
..."Remove that dead squirrel from off thy head, Zippy, it's not fooling anyone..."

5. The best is when he hosts that cartoon on TBN
The one that's narrated by the singing kid with the camel.

They insist on having Heston do the voice of Moses in the cartoons. It's understandable, but sometimes it just doesn't work.

Its just embarassingly hilarious to see a young Moses in Egypt with the voice of a man in his eighties.
