We "win" or we "lose" re: Schiavo
Obviously NO ONE WINS and this is a very sad case.
However, the political ramifications can't be ignored.
What do you think will be the outcome?

Will the Dems be seen as 'killers'?
Will Pugs be successful with the "activist" judge mantra?
Or will they be the fools who took government intrusion too far?

1. My prayer
is that the majority who believe Bush & the GOP have overstepped will rise up and demand some accountability.

My fear is that Bush & Co will continue with their agenda to destroy my(our)country without consequence.

I try to be an optimist, but I am so angry about so much these days.
My Congressional representatives have probably got me on their ignore lists as I'm constantly writing them.

we aren't even really engaged in the "battle."

Last poll I saw said close to 80% disapprove of the Republicans getting involved, and according to some polling information reported on AAR this morning, nearly the same ratio holds true among people describing themselves as evangelical christians and republicans.

It's Operation Foot Bullet in motion for the Cons.

3. This is a big one for us
Shrub isn't gaining any new friends by moving farther to the religious right. Meanwhile, moderates peel off from the middle...
