Bush's big mistake
For 4 plus years, George W Bush has gotten away with everything he's done because he was able to distract the sheeple from their thinning pocketbooks. Iraq, 911, Anthrax, Abu Ghraib, etcetera. He would have been better off politically to invade Syria than start talking about domestic issues like social security, and right to die issues. Once Bush opened his mouth on domestic policy, he was exposed for the fraud that he is. What I find insane is that for all the suffering that has happened in the last 4 years, it took Bush threatening peoples SS to wake them up. I guess money is pretty important!

1. Nobody is waking up from anything....
..if we start to believe that then we are almost as foolish as the sheeple themselves.

None of this stuff was hidden before the '04 election, and people still allowed themselves to be cowered into fear by the media, and act upon their reservations about evil liberals and the democratic party. And people still voted as they did.

4. In the 04 election people let the repukes cheat like they did.
There were all sorts of warnings on how the election could be rigged and they ignored it. Perhaps we did get the government we deserved.

3. One question our side out to be asking is
"What if she didn't have medical insurance?" "What if nothing changed, but she didn't have anyway to pay her medical bills?"

Of course they'd try to turn it back towards us trying to make poiltical hay off of a personal tragedy (which is what they are doing, but you can't really expect consistency from them).

5. The answer is, that little six-month old African American boy
Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 09:33 AM by Dhalgren
in Texas last week. His mother was begging to have him kept on life-support, but she had no money, no insurance, she wasn't white, so they pulled the plug. Why isn't the Corporate Media following that story? Oh, yeah...no money, the not white thing - Christian fundies don't care about the poor and or the non-white...I forgot...

It is just amazing that you can pull the plug on a six month old baby and the Christians say nothing, but if that had been a fetus in the sixth month of gestation, they would have cried bloody murder if an abortion had been performed. What lying sacks of shit...
