Try this, guys...
Go to any forum where pro-lifers or anti-euthenasia folks hang out, and post about the Sun Hudson case (the baby who got the plug pulled in TX) and say what an outrage it is. Don't say Bush signed the law because then the partisan part of their brain will shut it out for not jibbing with their world view. Just lead them to the story and let them know they pulled the tube on a baby over the wishes of their mother. Anyone outraged over the Schiavo case will be even more shocked and horrified by that story if they read it with an open mind.

I've already got a few pro-lifers calling for heads over this. And they should be angry. Anyone who honestly believes it's murder to pull the plug would be horrified by the TX law.

3. Brought that up today

I quoted * verbatim about erring on the side of life & all life is precious. Then mentioned this case & how the law * signed let the hospital pulled the plug. His "justification" was that Teri's folks have the money to pay for her care & this mother didn't, therefore Teri deserves to live because her parents can afford it & those who can't don't deserve to die. I gave up, no use arguing with them, they can rationalize anything.

4. So, can they have an abortion?
I mean, if they can't afford to support the baby. Murder is murder. If you can do it for economic reasons in one case, you can do it in the other.

Your problem was you told them Bush signed the law. As I said, you can't say that or the partisan part of their brain shuts it down. You just have to mention how horrible it is they kill babies in TX against the mothers wishes, and then after they're all worked up about it, bring up the Bush part.
