For my 500th post...a message to the local repuke party

I have here in my hot little hand a fundraising letter from my local Republican Party. I'm not real sure how I got on their mailing list, but they seem to have the idea that I am going to cough up $1000 to join the "Chairman's Circle". (Yes, I know it just BEGS for some Bevis & Butthead-esque punnery.)

Since I doubt if they are aware that I am a way liberal progressive lefty democrat, I want to return the form with a nice little note pointing out why I will no longer be supporting the Raw-Deal Republicans.

Something along the lines of:
Conservative used to mean smaller government, fiscal responsibility and state’s rights. Now it means the federal government racks up huge debt while encouraging corporations to export American jobs overseas. Bush's foreign policy makes the Middle East more important than the United States. Conservatives no longer have enough respect for the Constitution to honor the basic foundation of our country, the separations of powers. The party that once stood for individuality and freedom now brings to bear the power of the Congress to interfere in the most intimate matters of family life...and death.

The Raw-Deal Republicans are turning America into a third-world theocratic police state and I will have no part of it.

Along with "Raw Deal Republicans", don't forget to toss in "Cheap Labor Conservatives"and "Regressive Republicans".
