Great program today on the Diane Rehm (sp) show about Terri. 2 points
that are very true and enlightenting. Don't have a link for the show but I am sure it can be found on the Net. (Her name may be spelled Rhem.)

1. The Republicans know and are complicit in the propagandizing and politicizing the issue. They have known about this issue for 15 years and Congress could have passed laws to settle the legal questions long before this had they really been interested in a "culture of life." But it is politically expedient for them to raise this issue now as pointed out in the Republican memo on the subject that circulated among Congressional Republicans in the House and Senate.

2. Terri has not had "food" since she has been on the feeding tube. The use of the words "food" and "water" are very misleading and deceptive and used to arouse people's emotions. Terri has been receiving a chemically mixed solution of nutrients...not food and water. (Something like actually feeding a plant.)

It is a shameful and disgusting behavior of a party bereft of everything except insincerity, hypocrisy, and deceit, and hate-mongering.
