was in today's The Day, an Eastern CT newspaper,
http://www.theday.com/eng/web/news/re.aspx?re=EA837906-2FF3-4725-BAC2-E1AE25C9DA75In response to the writer of “You won't find God in the Constitution,” published March 16, if you take a closer look, Article 7 of the U.S. Constitution refers to Jesus Christ as “Our Lord. “Here's the passage he's referring to
The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.
Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,
GO WASHINGTON--Presidt. and deputy from Virginia

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. This Letter writer totally ignores that this is the only reference to "god" in the Constitution and that it is done only to serve as a dating function. I guess this letter writer should also say that the Founding Fathers were Roman Catholics at heart, since the dating function they used was derived under the auspices of the Catholic Church centuries beforehand. No where did the Founding Fathers implement the Gospels or the 10 Commandments in the Constitution.
