Poll question: Which recent action by the repukes galls you the most?
Edited on Tue Mar-22-05 10:42 PM by senseandsensibility
I've set the time period from January, 2005, AFTER * was "sworn in." Without this limit, the list would run several pages long. Also, I think it's important to remind ourselves just how much damage they've done in TWO SHORT MONTHS!!!!!

We need to stop them people! We can't stand two more months like this!

1. How about ALL? Okay if I had to dwindle it down
it would be the passing of drilling ANWR and the whole Schiavo circus.

2. bankruptcy is a huge outrage, but I fault the Dems for that
I don't expect better from the Republicans. I voted for the Schiavo incident. That defies all notions of decency.

Can we just say "all of the above" and leave it at that? :dunce:

12. Sure
I wanted everyone to see the list in all its horror. Picking one is not really necessary, but seeing the compilation of ALL of them might motivate someone.

4. DeLay
Most of the other things the Dems could have stopped and chose not to fight them, they could have stuck together so it's them too. But for being just angry at them for one thing is hard to choose. What have they done right? Ever? Do Not Call List? Wow

5. How about most of them?
I went with the media, 'bribing journalists w/tax dollars?' How many ways can I say how wrong this is?

6. It's a split decision: Bankruptcy and Schiavo. SS stands outside, for now.
Because that seems to be a non-starter for BushCo.

On the other two, they've done real damage already. And the GALL of them!

7. The stench of the evil permiating from their pores
offends me.

I had to go with the the first act of subverting the Constitution & ou Democracy given the time line presented.

(((((rolling drum)))))

And the answer is the theft of the election.

11. Yes, that is true.
No withdrawl plan, and no recognition of lies and mistakes made will be forthcoming. Now, if that doesn't gall everyone here...

16. The Wolfowitz thing is really getting to me!
Isn't he the guy that estimated $10B as the total cost for Iraq? And, to quote my friend, "If it's the WORLD bank, why does the US get to appoint the head?"

P.S. Spellcheck on Wolfowitz suggests replacement with "Halfwits". Coincidence? I think not!

17. Definitely not! LOL
You're right; the more you think about the Wolfowitz appointment, the more ironic and mind boggling it is. Maybe the Dems should be pointing this out. It would be easy to do, even in a humorous fashion.

18. The Schiavo issue because it speaks to everything that is so terribly wron
with this administration on so many fronts and demonstrates their unmitigated gall and their full intention of controlling every aspect of our lives, given half a chance.

This is the issue that hits where every American lives, even if it shouldn't be that important. I think that is why it has become the pervasive issue--we all can see ourselves in a similar position.

Toughest poll yet.

21. Rice
She's an incompetent marroon. 9/11 is the key to all their power and thus all other evil doing. I'm not forgiving it. The rest is greed.

Letting civilians be used as collateral damage that can be lied about to start wars is a deal breaker.

Also-hopefully ANWR can be stopped enventually.

Bankruptcy laws can be changed.

Schiavo might even hurt them a wee bit.

But Rice is a danger to the world.
