HBO MOVIE SHOWS RADIO 'AIR AMERICA' CHAOS

HBO is set to air a behind the scenes look at the launching of liberal radio network AIR AMERICA.

The DRUDGE REPORT has obtained a director's cut of LEFT OF THE DIAL, a grossly entertaining docu-drama of life on the other side of the AIR AMERICA microphone.

The doubts. The lies. The bounced checks. The heartbreak.

The viewer is taken upclose to witness the ugly business of media ambition.

The main character, Evan Cohen, founding chairman and main investor, is depicted as a complete fraud...

He's probably jealous because his show is only on once a week, and is unpopular because he's boring and his high, squawky voice is extremely annoying...


Funny how he leaves out the part where right-wingers keep declaring the network dead, and yet it keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger - to their dismay...

I don't have HBO, but I'm going to see it one way or another. And who cares if there was chaos at the beginning of AAR? It's in 50 markets now and it's more successrul than Matty boy ever thought it would be.

leopard skin bathrobes like Randi Rhodes, speak aloud along with our favorite radio hosts--and pass out Air America bumper stickers "the Rush Limbaugh antidotes" to the audience.

8. Why doesn't someone do a docudrama on the self loathing homosexual Drudge

being rejected, over and over, by good looking, athletic, normal gay guys, until, in desperation, he turns to a bizarre clique of religious rightwing political extremists in a pathetic effort to "belong" somewhere.

As if Drudge doesn't have any himself.

I often hear the word "ambition" used derogatorily by repumpkins
(usually in relation to Hillary Clinton or Howard Dean). I wonder why this is; isn't that whole bootstrap business the very definition of "ambition?"

The funny thing is that when all the checks at AA bounced, I look Cohen up on Google and found out that he was still wanted for scamming investors out of money in American Samoa or where ever he's from. If only people would Google before handing over venture capital...

but Cohen really was not that instrumental in creating the network. He was a charming fund-raiser, but not somebody who could administer a budget or even tell the truth about it.

14. Ummm Smudge --- That's only the first part.

I just watched the preview and it seems to be a movie about how AAR overcame some INITIAL chaos to make a real run at it.

Drudge is such a douchebag. His "exclusive" on this film is like calling Hoosiers a movie about failure because the basketball team lost their first few games.

I think that's what the documentary is about. It shows how they started out and over came all the troubles and is now doing very well and growing. :)
