It is obscene
That we cannot watch the caskets of our dead soldiers returned home, yet we are forced to watch this macabre sideshow of Terri "socializing" with her parents.

That Congress convenes a special emergency session to "save the life" of one person that has no intact brain function, yet they aren't spending any extra time figuring out a solutions to the Iraqi debacle or the Social Security issues or election reform or the healthcare crisis or our budget crisis.

It's appalling that people have spent countless hours judging Michael Schiavo for his actions regarding one person without brain function, when * has the blood of thousands of people with intact brain function on his hands.

Where are our priorities?

1. Isn't that photo about ten years old?
If she's been bedridden for more than ten years, I don't believe that she looks like that. I've seen the effects of it firsthand.

3. It seems it's not the public's
priorities that are screwed up. The Poodle Press and the Republican's priorities are what are messed up.

No amount of protesting, yelling, shaming, arguing or truth seems to change anything one whit. I even have my doubts if 2006 elections will be able to change it either unless we vote on paper with pens.
