Has anyone heard of NESARA?
The National Economic Security and Reformation Act.

I got a flyer at a protest today that says a law was passed in March 2000 and signed into law by the president in October 2000. This law is supposed to redraw our banking and government systems. It just needs to be announced and implemented.

The website at www.nesara.us states:.

NESARA initiates PEACE IMMEDIATELY and

1. Provides forgiveness of credit card, mortgage, and other bank debt as remedy for bank and government frauds;
2. Abolishes the IRS; creates flat rate non-essential "new items only" sales tax revenue for government;
3. Initiates U.S. Treasury Bank System, which absorbs the Federal Reserve, and new precious metals backed U.S. Treasury currency;
4. Restores Constitutional Law;
5. Requires resignations of current administration to be replaced by Constitutionally acceptable NESARA President and Vice President Designates until new elections within 120 days;
6. Requires the President Designate to declare "Peace" enabling international banking improvements to proceed smoothly; ends U.S. aggressive military actions immediately, and many more improvements.

If only it could be this easy.

1. Sounds like an urban legend
Learned about it at the Crawford protest last year. Doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

3. Yes, I think we would have heard about a law like this back in 2000
When I quizzed the person who handed me the flyer she couldn't answer any questions.

Seems like a "wish list" for dreamers.

2. Sounds like BS to me.
I'd like to see more than just one website about it.

5. The flyer is a hoax. NESARA was never enacted.

The Tacoma News Tribune did a 5 part expose on one of the ring-leaders of some cult-like group last year. Apparently she lives in a little town called Belfair a few miles from Tacoma... I'll see if I can find archives of the articles.
