Where were these "Pro-Life" Schiavo protesters on the eve of the Iraq War?
100,000 Iraqis dead.

1520 U.S. Soldiers dead.

All for WMD that didn't exist.

Why was it that I never heard a peep of protest from the self-described "Pro-Life" community prior to the invasion of Iraq, or in any of the months since?

1. They're full of hypocritical
shyte. Go open up more terrorism in the MiddleEast and don't protect our Soldiers with body armour or veteran's benefits..bomb Iraqis to death along with their cities..but for Gawd's sake..don't kill the poor brain dead woman whose husband has proved in court that she wouldn't want to hang on like this.

3. some had to choose between going to Fayetteville or Pinellas Co
Not everyone who is fighting for Terri Schiavo is for the war.

Many liberals are suspicious about the circumstances revolving around her supposed heart attack.

Pinellas Co has refused to allow a criminal investigation, refused to allow child and disabled services to investigate, and
Schiavo's husband sealed her medical records from the beginning so that no fact finding could begin.

This situation is a case where the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I dislike the right wingers claiming this is their issue, but since they are the ones in power, the Schiavo's have to appeal to them.

When someone is injured as she was, and if there is suspicion, there should be an investigation.

You don't have to be anti abortion to want to save the life of someone who is a cognizant human being.

Who will be next - the elderly in Florida?

5. Yes, I'm sure that federalization of this issue
Will shed new light on something that the previous 6 courts and 19 judges have yet to find.

6. There was an investigation and the allegations were dismissed
She had been bulimic and collapsed at her home.

Check www.abstractappeal.com

There are thorough court documents at the site which explain the circumstances. I believe this was investigated more than once.

4. Fundies see war, especially against Godless heathens, as
righteous and a glory to God. To support that kind of war is to grease your way towards heaven. Same with poor Terri Schiavo. These people have been brainwashed by the cult activity in their churches to believe they are doing God's work in trying to "save" her and they are all ecstatic about how much that will grease their way towards heaven. That's what it's all about with these people. The fundie cult leaders dangle the carrot of "entrance into heaven" in front of them, and tell them what they need to do to get it, and they follow like sheep.
