3. I think that people who have bitched

about the abundance of Shiavo(or Michael Jackson or Laci Peterson or Chandra Levy or what have you)threads is that they came here seeking a haven from that kind of crap. We should be better than that, for Koresh sake!

this one was the exception . . . all this Schiavo stuff is just the latest distraction to keep us from addressing the real issues . . . the media decides what's news, and we who know better STILL start 100 or more threads to discuss yet another peripheral issue . . . thus doing EXACTLY what they want us to be doing . . . really sad . . .
