I guess our local TV news got the memo from the GOP.
They're telling us to stay tuned for the late broadcast to find out how Bush and Congress are trying to "save" Terry Schiavo. I guess they are not allowed to suggest that a woman whose brain atrophied 15 years ago might finally be allowed to die in accordance with her own wishes. Nope, the Pretzeldent is going to "save" her.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the corporate media?

:puke:

2. Yup! They must've gotten the same page that ABC did...
...the Republican 'talkingpoints' memo
But they're not honest enough to tell you that.

3. let's see...
My local Fox affilliate just briefly mentioned that protests took place in "London, Madrid, and Rome" but didn't mention a single one that took place in the U.S. today.

Then they devoted the next 5 minutes to another thrilling American Idol update. No shit.

The concept of "news" doesn't exist any longer.

9. Our local ABC affiliate gave good coverage to our
protest. They mentioned the NJ protest, and some foreign protests. The CBS affiliate was there, but basketball preempted the news.

10. Kick
Heard it on the radio on the way home from work.

Apparently a memo that spoke of "the dividends saving Mrs. Shiavo would pay in the upcoming elections".

11. I rarely watch our local news
It's horribly RW and usually only covers the repub talking points.

I tolerate it when the weather's bad and I need to know if they are calling school.

Moses parted the seas and the pharoh got really mad at his wife (The Ten Commandments with "you can try to take my gun from my cold dead hands Heston" was on ALLLLL night), but they did give the protests some coverage.

It is really very sad to be an American these days "the home of the free (so you think, but not really) and the brave (we will kick your ass because we can!)".
