2. it's all done by VOLUNTEERS...people working for FREE....

and under great time constraints and bushites legal attacks....

I commend all the VOLUNTEERS who work for PEACE, even if they sometimes mis-spell a word or two....



WE are working for NO PAY, while others are showered with war-profiteering money...it's a tough job, and it's obviously THANKLESS too...

3. the reagan years and "Whole Language" learnin'

when most of us were kids we were taught to read using a method called phonetic language: symbols (letters) represent sounds, those sounds are strung together to make words, words into sentences. This gave us the ability to sound out words and thereby figure out how to say/spell words we do not know. This also mean that by knowing a few word roots we could understand the meanings of words we were unfamiliar with.

They were taught "whole language": other wise known as word recognition.... kids are taught to recognize words... one word at a time.... it's like giving a man a fish instead of teaching him to fish.

This is all ron reagan's fault.... as whole language was push by his ed. dept.
So I agree, pitty these people who have suffered at the hands of those we fight and praise their efforts at bettering their lot.
