Still Think Sen. Clinton is Repug Lite? Think Again!
She brought the heat to Alan Greenspan today! Check out this article:

http://kevxml2adsl.verizon.net/_1_2GWVTO102WNT4HE__vzn.dsl/apnws/story.htm?kcfg=apart&feed=ap&sin=D88RMS8G2&qcat=finance&passqi=&top=1&ran=16813

Snip- "It turns out that we were all wrong," Greenspan conceded at a Senate hearing.

"Just for the record, we were not all wrong, but many people were wrong," Clinton, D-N.Y., quickly shot back.

1. I admire Hillary
I don't always agree with her, but she is a very hard-working, intelligent woman who does her best for her constituents.

That said, I prefer someone else to be the Dem presidential nominee.

2. A word about 2008.....
I think Democrats need to STOP focusing on 2008 for a moment, and focus on the 2006 midterm elections.

Those midterm elections will be critical to the balance of power in the United States Congress.

I think everyone just needs to take a deep breath and focus on 2006, and concentrate on getting people who represent THEIR interests elected to Congress.

2008 will take care of itself when it gets here.

7. Exactly right!
If we have even a prayer of a chance of defeating Bush's extremist agenda, then we need people who represent our interests and values in Congress, controlling the legislative agenda. That needs to be our focus right now.

10. I do think the mid-term elections
are the best place to concentrate our energies now

Whichever Dem we elect will need help to undo all of Bush's damage.

11. I agree
I think if we think too much on 2008 we'll just forget about 2006 and the republicans will sweep up and we'll never get to have those impeachment hearings we've all been dreaming about. I think that's what they're trying to do personally.

3. No kidding...
if she were to win in 08 (If she's the nominee I hope she wins) that will be at least 32 years with either a bush or clinton as potus or veep. That's not the way a healthy democracy should work, we need some fresh blood.

6. I just get confused sometimes.
Its not so much that I wouldn't want HC to run for President, its that i don't want her to run against Rice. That really scares me a lot, at least right now it does. Anything could happen in the next few years though. And just because Rice said now that she will not run, I don't believe it one bit. She can lie about planes as missiles and all that other BS. I'll believe she is not going to run, when she supposedly doesn't run.
