Health Experts Say Failure to Count Iraqi Casualties Is Irresponsible
Global Public Health Experts Say Failure to Count Iraqi Casualties Is Irresponsible (March 11, 2005)

Public health experts from around the world are complaining that they are unable to "obtain validated, reliable information about the extent of mortality and morbidity since the invasion of Iraq." They urge both governments to immediately commission a "comprehensive, independent inquiry" into Iraqi casualties, and call the joint US/UK failure to make any effort to monitor Iraqi casualties "wholly irresponsible." 2. Bingo!
That was precisely what I was going to point out concerning the BFEE's reluctance to give an accurate account of civilian casualties in Iraq.

3. It's not only irresponsible,
it's immoral. And un-American. And disgusting.

I almost threw up way back in the beginning of this farce when the American general said, "Well, since we don't try to kill civilians on purpose, we don't see any reason to make any effort to count the civilian casualties."

God will get these people in the end. I hope so, anyway.

was pointed out above, 'counting' would demonstrate war crimes, most obviously in Fallujah, but across the rest of Iraq as well.

5. Others are counting
The British Medical Association for example put the figure at about 100,000 before Fallujah :-(.
