Printing up stickers to place on gas pumps when you fill your car with gas.

I said this in the other thread, and will repeat it here:

You don't own the gas pumps. No matter how righteous your ideas may be (and I agree with your political stance, or I wouldn't be here), you have no right to use someone else's property without their permission, for any reason! In legal terms it's called "trespass to chattels," and the owner of the property is free to have you prosecuted for doing it.

Furthermore, how long do you think it will be until the freepers start responding to your stickers with stickers of their own? Do you really think it's right to make a situation where the gas-station employees have to go out every day and scrape stickers off their pumps?

Come on, people. Have some respect for other people's property. Would you like it if you owned a gas station and the freepers were plastering stickers on your pumps? Would you like it if you owned a store and thr freepers were putting stickers on your windows, your sign, or your newspaper displays?"

Don't do this. Please. I thought we were supposed to be the ones who occupy the moral high ground, both politically and socially.
