2. The site I referenced is scary. Meet me on the street with your
own cardboard box, or just maybe, maybe we can all "bunk" with Kenny Boy!

3. I don't understand a lot of this. Do they take your house and car or not?

My house is old and in bad shape and my cars are all old too. You could sell both of them and not cover what I owe....lol

4. Just file before October..:)
This will probably be tweaked more in the house.. I cannot see those puffed up attention-whores not wanting their own stamp on it:)

The news today said they would vote on it next month:(

6. The BK law is all about Chapter 7, which when filed discharges
all that you owe, save student loans, and you can have a fresh start. They do not take your home, car, etc.

Now the new law wants to shift you to filing Chapter 13, where you must repay ALL your debts. They set it all up and yes, they can take your house, car...even the Freepers are pissed.

5. I am a slave to student loans...
The only way out is to NEVER graduate. So, now I'm working on my fourth grad degree. :)
