7. With me it's Dianne Feinstein.
I don't care for DINOS who take my vote so they can vote against my interests and wishes once in office. This is hypocritical and more heinous in my mind than someone like Strom Thurmond, who at least was honest about where he stood.

What bothers you about Feinstein?
For me, it's gun control...but apparently there's a whole lot of other reasons. I'd like to hear em.

27. More details?
Any sites I can visit with this info? I mainly just hate the fact that she is continuing to cling to the single piece of legislation (Assault Weapons Ban) which contributed most directly to Dems losing Congress in 1994. And now she's trying to resurrect it when there's no proof that it accomplished anything.

I can remember a time when winning elections was at least a cursory objective of our party.

15. I can handle moderate/conservative Dems from Red states
But people like Feinstein and Lieberman have no excuse. They could be as liberal as they want and still get re-elected. Pathetic.

28. I agree with Biden...
this is only because he is one of the most well-known and listened to Democrats that could be a DINO. If nobody really listened to him, in the same kind as Ben Nelson, I wouldn't hate him as much. But it's because people listen to his BS.

18. I don't get him either.
I've been in FL for a year. I met Bob Graham at Ft. Lauderdale airport. He is a great guy.

Nelson declared that Gonzales was "qualified" to be Attorney General. What's he all about?

22. Another Floridian here...
I met Bill Nelson in 72 when he was running for state office. I was a Repug (egads!!!) then, but still saw him as a pretty decent guy. There were some folks who had problems wtih him as state insurance commissioner in late 80's or early 90's. Sorry, can't remember just when he did that, nor can I remember any of the details.

He's been just awful lately. I got an email from him in January that we need to support *'s plan in Iraq because it's working.

Aside from Lawton Chiles, Bob Graham is one of the greatest people to have ever served this state. I was so disappointed when he decided not to run again. He has true compassion for all of us, in a large part coming from his "work days". I don't know about his religious persuasion, but he acts more like a "good Christian" than most others around these days. Even my wing-nut dad liked him when he was governor.

17. Ben Nelson hands down
Eventhough I'm going to vote for that clown in 2006. He's useless as tits on a boar when it comes to democratic opposition. The only reason to keep him around is to bring home the federal money(which he does a good job on) I can't think of the last time he "broke ranks" to vote WITH the democrats.
