i was watching the 9pm wgn news broadcast (chicago - tribune media affiliate) last night.

they waited until the bottom of the hour, then:

"next, bill clinton's surgery and how it might be his fault."

jesus christ, they spent more than eight years (92 election cycle forward until today) on a witch hunt against bill clinton, hillary clinton, his brother, chelsea, and even socks the cat. why can they not give the fucking guy a break?

never once does the msm characterize bush in any type of negative light.

or is the chemtrails/gannon/free masons/crack connection next for me . . .?

because of clinton's "jet setter" lifestyle (they used that term), he didn't pay attention to it in time and now he has to undergo surgery.

There's also scar tissue involved. That's not taken care of during office visits. And I didn't realize traveling overseas to visit tsunami-torn nations was "jet setting." Clinton goes to the doctor regularly; he didn't neglect anything. The doctors knew about it before he left for SE Asia and let him go because he can't travel for awhile after the surgery.

7. We have a local DJ on a "Country Music"

channel who does nothing but comment for the bushtapo, and against the Democrats. I have called several times to ask whether his job was to play music, or to make political comments on current events.

I tell them that they should offer equal time to the opposing view, and I have never received a satisfactory response.

The worst part is that I HATE country music. Not because of the music itself, but because of all the pseudo-patriotic racist bigotry that goes along with it.

14. Well, I occasionally have to listen

to it as I am working in different departments that have it playing. Also, friends who did listen would let me know what his latest outrage was. We would then call.

This was during the past election, and I was relatively busy campaigning for John Kerry, and Democrats in general. We were all acutely aware of media bias at that time, and were attempting to do something about it.

A radio journalist, I forget his name, from the "off the record" program came to speak at a Local Democratic Fundraiser. The topic of media bias was immediately brought up. He did not believe there was a problem, and he got pummeled with every question after he made the comment. This was in October of 2004.

So, there it is. The FULL skinny on why I listened to that disgusting station. BTW, I occasionally listen to local Jesus radio also. Their broadcasting is a horrific gumbo of lies, superstition, carpetbaggers, bigotry, and war mongering.

Listen for a while to your local radio stations. You may be shocked by the republican filth that is being propagated.

You are right though. It is extremely rare to hear a critical news report condemning the evil shrub. When a dissenting opinion makes the news, like the Dixie Chicks, then the MSM is all over it in an attempt to destroy their character and their career.

12. They never use the world "scandal" either

Remember how the MSM used to never go a day without saying "the scandal-plagued Clinton administration"? And everything was some kind of "--gate," file-gate, travel-gate etc. The "scandals" all came out to a big fat nothing, but it didn't matter.

I have been waiting for them to use the word "scandal" or "gate" in connection with Bush, but NOTHING he does merits the word for them. Oh, people are dying and losing their limbs because he lied? Oh well, that's not like something SERIOUS or anything, is it? They make me sick.
