3. Kerry didn't require loyalty oaths
I volunteered at a couple of these sort of events for Kerry and Edwards. There were no loyalty oaths, and we didn't put people out of the line if they seemed to be Bush or Nader supporters. Everyone did, however, need a ticket, which was available through the campaign.

5. I went to an Edwards rally
I printed my ticket from the web.

I'm not sure why I even needed a ticket.. anyone could just print a ticket.

7. but you got the ticket because you were signed up through the campaign
but of course Republicans could easily sign up as well. All they needed to be able to do was to tolerate the endless emails soliciting campaign contributions.

9. I got 4 rally tickets through the K/E campaign....
I think everybody got 4.

& I was free to distribute them to whomever I wished.

So I did - we & left the remainder @ the gate for anybody who wanted them.

no questions asked......

4. Thanks for reminding me about that...
Quite disingenuous, wasn't it?

That guy is so slimey! I loved it when Janeane Garafolo said he(& McClellan) must have explosive diarrhea after all that dishonesty.

11. I was furious throughout the entire interview.

And as much as I like Jon Stewart, I thought he was way too flattered by Fleischer's appearance on the show and he was way too easy on him.

12. I agree
There was a lot of things that Stewart could have called Fleisher on (inclucing the bald-faced law that "everybody does it") and he didn't. Made for a pretty boring interview.
