Operation "River Blitz" is moving right along with NOTHING on our TVs.

Several Iraqis die in US attacks

US forces in Iraq have in the last few days killed several Iraqis - including a woman and her children - during the course of an extensive military operation in al-Anbar province.

The situation is tense since the US forces launched Operation River Blitz on Tuesday, Aljazeera has learned.

In the province's city of Ramadi, two Iraqis including a woman along with her children were killed in US fire.

While three civilians were injured when US troops opened fire on their car, the woman and children were killed when the air force bombed a house in Bu-Farraj district, north of the city.

Several checkpoints have been set up by the US forces in the city, with students studying at al-Anbar University unable to reach their classrooms, Aljazeera has learned.

3. When I read about the 'new' army move I did not read much,
I thought I would just put off the sad thing that we were bombing even more people in to the stone age. Rid that country of another city to save it I guess. We are all living in a dream world as every one in the world will know what we do but the people in the USA

5. The MSM is busy reporting on the BIZZARE theory...
...that our actions in Iraq are leading to a outbreak of instant democracy all over the middle east (Lebanon, Egypt, etc...). And our actions in Ramadi will undoubtedly support this theory, I'm sure...:eyes:<-eyes are for the MSM, not for you, LC.:)

8. I've been hearing it all week, so I turned off the TV.
Bush is being given the credit for his forsight on this. Meanwhile, other news about Iraq and North Korea is being ignored, as is analysis with any depth about Syria.

6. More war crimes --
and the US Media is playing it's part -- acting as "one" under the direction of the chief war criminals in the white house.

If this were Germany at the end of WWII -- heads of the media would be hung as would generals -- Hitler took care of the matter and executed himself.

But then the US is so superior -- blah blah blah blah.

7. And I just saw a headline that our # of troops killed
hit 1500. I didn't hear anything about it on last night's local news or on this morning's Good Morning America. Not a surprise, actually.
