Mina Leierwood, FNVW member, peacemaker and daughter of Frank and Raquel
Wood of Prospect Hill Friends Meeting, will appear on the ABC reality show
"Wife Swap" tomorrow night at 9pm Central.

The situation: peace mom replacing the mother of a Kentucky military family
based near Fort Knox and military mom fitting in to Twin Cities peace
community.

I just saw the upcoming Wife Swap episode yesterday, and I'm happy with it.
The good news is that the peace vs. war positions are drawn really clearly,
and ultimately, that is what this is about. I think they were kind to me,
representing me as more level headed and less kooky than I am. My son Dan
was the most radical and extreme of the bunch. My husband and Avram play
minor roles, because they were less confrontational. Also guest appearances
by Ralph Hilgendorf, Jan Elftmann, June Moon, Randy Schutt, Coffee John and
other Peaceniks.

Spread the word - peaceniks don't often get this kind of primetime airplay!

The Dem mom is absolutely doing/saying the right things. I think she is the salt of the earth. Adorable! Her husband is harder to peg, seems strangely quiet. I could do without their oldest son, who does not practice at all the tolerance he preaches. Maybe it would be better coming from him if he did - anything. The bed he was sleeping in was unhealthy to say the most. The two flag huggers - wife is a perfect example of a stepford wife. Husband seems to have no interest in family, I'm betting another woman 'at work'.

A woman like this on TV outside of C-Span. I wish she had her own weekly show, I do. I love her life! She really outshined the stepford wife and I'm glad those who watch trash TV got to see it.
