Anyone have knowledge/experience in fighting fax spammers?
In spite of having a do not call number and being told I am already on the "remove" list, I am plagued with continuing spam faxes from an anonymous company with different phone numbers but the same recorded voice and the same remove number.

I get the runaround from the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division because I can not provide an address. Duh, spammers don't give names or addresses.

I even get the runaround from AT&T who would like me to believe they do not have the capability to identify this company which is breaking the law thru their lines.

I am prepared to spend a few bucks to nail these bastards.

1. Well an old method
was to send them several black paper faxes.

All black paper. Like construction paper.

2. Can't you sue them?
You can get them in small claims court, discover should bring out the defendant. I think junkbusters.org had a step-by-step.

5. I thought this was illegal, period. There is a book that cross-references
addresses with phone numbers. What are they faxing that they don't give name or location? I get fax ads on my normal phone. Sometimes I catch them when I have my computer hooked up.

Call them and get their address.

I like the black paper idea.

7. What?
Doesn't the fax print ink thing cost like $150 dollars per cartridge? Could it be the makers who want you to go our and buy more of their ink?

Were you seen at the cheap ink kiosk at the mall?

Don't play games with corporate America!!!
