In the escalating assault on the AARP by the conservatives at USA Next, the issue is Social Security reform. Thus, it makes perfect sense that USA Next has chosen to attack on the subject of gay marriage.
Caught in the middle are two Portland gay men, Rick Raymen and Steven Hansen, whose image, the men say, is being used without their consent in a bizarre ad titled "The Real AARP Agenda."

Raymen was reluctant to comment Monday, noting simply, "At this point, we don't want to say anything wrong. We're totally innocent of all of this." He then directed me to Aravosis, a Washington, D.C.-based publicist, and attorney Christopher Wolf.

We haven't heard the end of this....
Wolf, who also represents former CIA agent Valerie Plame and her husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson, delivered a letter Monday to Charles Jarvis, the chairman of USA Next, claiming the photograph of Raymen and Hansen was used without their permission.
