Express Your Hope and Outrage
This is a wonderful project organized by my mom. I'm so proud of her! She's still looking for contributors, it's really very cathartic.

For many Vermonters, hands-on democracy means town meeting. For Kate Taylor, it's also a 400-square-and-counting "Chronicle Quilt of Outrage and Hope."

Taylor awoke at her Clarendon home one morning two years ago distressed about the warring world. Many of her friends were voicing their opinions on protest signs. Taylor, a quilter, asked them to pen their thoughts on 7-inch muslin squares so she could stitch together a literal blanket statement.

"Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can change the world," wrote professor Howard Zinn, author of "A People's History of the United States," on one of five squares he sent Taylor.
