A letter sent to President Bush by Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (Ill.), and a group of Senate Democrats demanding “immediate and thorough investigation into the Gannon/Guckert matter” asks: “How is it possible that a man using a fake name, with dubious journalism credentials, was able to clear the White House’s extensive security screening process and gain such close access to you and your staff for such an extended period of time?”

To put this request in proper perspective, we turn to the 1999 declaration of former FBI agent Gary Aldrich, who served the White House at the beginning of the Clinton Administration. Ten years later, we still don't know who hired Craig Livingstone, the DIRECTOR OF SECURITY in the Clinton White House who had dubious security credentials. In his eye-opening book, 'Unlimited Access', Aldrich talks about the security problems and questionable conduct involving White House staff, none of which Democrats on the Hill took much interest in then or now.

But a conservative reporter needs to be thoroughly investigated.

So today's fishing expedition is "libruls" like Gary Aldrich (????...wasn't he a fundie???)...a spy and traitor has credibility...and, of course, indicates this is all "Clinton's fault". Yep, let's feast on this topic for a day or two...it is worth investigating, but not for the reasons "Jeff" would wish for.

Now who was the real author of this piece of dis-information? Bobby Eberle? Morton Blackwell? Karl Rove? It sure isn't "Jeff" since he isn't paid to be anything more than a front...and to play this charade for all its worth.
