"I can't wait to go to sleep tonight, because we have a lot to talk about."

Jaimie Fox - Oscars 2005 - referring to his grandmother.

1. Ashlee Simpson?
Because she is the coolest singer ever. :P <sarcasm off>

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page. Great guitar players.

2. There are too many people
but my Aunt was really someone in my life that will always hold a special place.

She'd be in her 90s now, 30+ years ago she had a live in boyfriend, had owned a business and was the sweetest little lady that I have ever known. She was about 4'10 and soft spoken and always had a smile. She had a lot of health problems for 20+ years to wards the end, but she would recuperate to the point of seeming to live a normal life. The thing was though, she wasn't healthy - and you would never have known it.

She was one of 2 people that could put my mother in her place, even though my mother was 5" taller than her. My mother showed respect and deference to her.

My Aunt was tiny but soft and mighty!

3. my mom,
just because I miss her a lot -- or my best friend because he was the wisest person I have ever known, and I could use some of his wisdom. I just don't want a nightmare like I had last night -- I dreamed of a world wide economic collapse and I was gasping for air. Normally, I wouldn't think much of this kind of dream, but shortly before the tsunami I had one about being on a large ship and this huge wave came and rolled us on our side; there was no storm, just a huge wave. We made it to port, ok, but it was very frightening trying to hold on to my husband as we were sloshed around the deck. When the tsunami hit, I wondered if the dream had been presient, thus, my angst at last night's dream.
