Taps
I watched part of the cermony at the World Trade Center and found it very moving. I especially was moved by the playing of Taps. The NYPD buglers did a great job. When I was a youngster, I read the book, From Here to Eternity. It is the best portrail of Army life(or life for a GI in general) that I have ever read. In it, one character says that every dogface soldier deserves a good taps played over him.
I know it is small comfort to anyone who lost a love one that terrible day, but today, those victims had a good taps played over them. May they rest in peace.
