Sorry if this is a dupe.

From Yahoo:

Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that dyspeptic, old Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the president.

From her own website:

Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the president.

Just thought it was interesting, if nothing else.

(As with any post I make regarding ann coulter, I'll note that she is to political analysis what Hulk Hogan is to professional sports.)

21. Eh...
I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers. Though, I admit in a sexist way, I find it's easy to separate someone's appearance from their ideas and beliefs - but that's just me.

What the hell is that even supposed to mean?

8. Isn't the Coultergeist having a sexual relationship with an Arab?
I thought she said something about "Mustafa."

4. good find
what's really awful about this (besides the racism) is that people who know little about coultier will read the yahoo version and think she has a shred of credibility. They may then repeat some of the talking points, where if they had read "dirty old Arab" in a column, they would likely be put off by it.

10. I just noticed it in BartCop's excerpt of the column.
And noticed that "that old Arab" seemed to be missing. Can't blame him for not wanting to go to her actual site.

5. It would have been honorable not to publish it
Edited on Sat Feb-26-05 01:30 PM by CindyDale
rather than edit it. The first version lets the true bankruptcy of values shine through. Yahoo's actions have sanitized it.

Oops! Fixed split infinitive and poor usage.

Of course, if they were to excise the lies from her articles as well there would be nothing left to post on their site.

9. Youse Guys Stop It Right Now ...
Making fun of a man who wears a dress is not nice!

Ann Coulter does whatever it takes to get a headline. He only wears a dress to show how liberal and tolerant the GOP is. Stop picking on Ann Coutler; it takes a brave man to wear a dress and talk trash about veterans.

17. This is the funniest Ann Coulter
This is the funniest Ann Coulter pic I have seen, this guy, an English DJ from what I can read, has slammed her, Bush and Hannity for months now in his blogs.

http://www.djpauledge.com/blog.php?id=68

Its a shame it has to be a Brit who speaks out when all our US DJs just keep quiet..

Peace

18. Born in Kentucky, no comment on ancestry
at http://www.klru.org/texasmonthlytalks/archives/thomas/bio.asp

I doubt, given her birthplace at the time, that she has Arab ancestry, not that it matters except to further discredit a hate spewing lunatic like Coulter.

I just find it rather strange that "Arab" has become such a pejorative in Coulter's writing, and stranger still that Yahoo would sanitize it while running the rest of her bilious prose.

According to this, her parents were Lebanese immigrants who settled in Kentucky:
