... a counterpoint! WTF! I mean has it gotten this bad for us when you get some dick-wad come on and trash AARP as a "Libruul" organization and agenda? (What CNN? No counterpoint?) I just sent AARP a strongly worded email telling them to get their shit together and hire some professional activists to camp out at CNN, MSNBC and even biased Faux like the conservatives do and get on the tube and slam these conservatives.

This was absolutely disgusting.

Frankly the dems need to really get their shit together and utilize the same tactics these conservatives do. These conservatives are like gang members... you try and reason with them they just laugh at you and go *uck someone up. The "debates" that I have seen have been piss poor by dems as we are trying to reason with these conservatives. This does not work. Why is some Dem not getting up on the tube and asking why Bush did not make this "crisis" the centerpoint of his campaign. He did not and everyone knows it.

Democrats had better wake up on this issue. All we do is bitch AFTER *ush gets his alleged victory. WTF!

I am doing my part. Are you?

BTW: Sorry if this sounds harsh. I am venting a bit but frankly I am tired of this conservative media bias that I see.

3. As far as CNN is concerned
this CANNOT BE AN ACCIDENT. It simply cannot be coincidence that CNN accidentally lets the Right wing talking points through and liberal points, or, any point that disagrees with the administration, is squashed.

No.

This is no accident.

There is a linkage here....

There is a reason for this.

I am a member ofAARP....I will also e-mail them.

4. Calm down. This is done all the time. You don't expect "fair and balance
from the MSM do you. It's up to the Dems and opposition to Bush SS plan to get out there and make their case by meeting with the people and being relentless about it. This battle can be won one town meeting at a time. I don't know why the Dems haven't come up with a plan to have every Dem Congressperson, including Senators to arrange small town meetings in all their districts and throughout their states to put forth their message.

9. What do you expect from CNN?
They've been doing this for years.... it's their standard modus operandi.

Anyone who didn't see this whole thing with Jarvis enabling coming down the pipeline hasn't been paying attention for a long, long time.

Just stop watching them- they're more than worthless- they'll leave you either pissed off or misinformed.

12. Why am I not surprised?
Apparently CNN has been reduced to shaking in their boots and snapping to attention whenever the Right Wing issues a new press release.

But one wonders how the network, and for that matter, most everyone else, managed to miss this counterstroke on USA NEXT:

Sounds like one veteran's organization was already seeing RED over that first "test" USA internet "ad".

13. By the way. . .
One thing we could be doing is encourage people to join AARP. I received my invitation several months ago - the best revenge is to just increase their membership as a show of confidence.

14. I am thinking of joining the AARP even though I am only 50
boost up their numbers and support them. This is a class war against retired Americans. Who is next?

Smear campaigns, when are people going to say enough?
