Bush in Europe...is it Medically Possible to Die of Embarrassment?

President Bush partaking in the age-old custom of Americans
abroad: Raising his voice, gesturing with his hands, and enunciating
very slowly to make the natives magically understand his English.

Citizens of Bratislava judge for themselves whether or not a certain
world leader looks even dumber in person than he does on television.

"Hubba, hubba...I gotta admit Bulldog Gannon ain't got nuthin'
on these men in uniform, even if they are Europinos..."

President Bush once again comports himself with his usual
degree of dignity and gravitas.

"Hey, which way to the Gingerbread Castle,
Sergeant Smirnoff? Heheheheheh..."

The President is notified to pause in his speech as
translators desperately search for the Slovak word
for "freedomptorialize."

"But seriously, fellers, the sight o' them soldiers made my heart
set on seeing that Gingerbread Castle..."

Reveling in the moment, President Bush can't resist the parting
shot of proving to the naysayers watching back home that he is,
indeed, quite capable of wiping his own ass.

3. No, he did not do well
and it's always painful to watch him speak. Regardless of how you feel abot Chirac and Putin - * is a gigantic embarrassment.

4. Perhaps they did all sound like idiots
But remember, only one of them was speaking in his native tongue.

6. The difference is English is a second language for Chirac and
Putin, they have mastered it quite well where as English is bush's only language and he has yet to come close to mastering it.

9. Fox News pointed out the success of bush's tour last night -
the trip was successful due to the absence of demonstrators at his different stops.

I remember seeing several pages of photos from demonstrations in Europe here at DU - was I mistaken or is Fox full of shit once again?

2. I caught a glimpse of his press
conference with President Putin in which he referred to him as Vladamir. How would he like Putin to refer to him as George? Now that was embarrassing.

ps. Very funny post by the way!

...this was supposed to be humorous, after all.

Unfortunately, the first person who responded tried to blunt that and ruin the tone. I figured he was maybe a new disruptor, and it seems like I was right. Well, good riddance to bad rubbish! :D

He went way beyond his usual abysmal, nonsensical yammering.

14. If it was, we'd all be dead already
I've literally hid my face upon witnessing Chucklenuts doing something stupid ...just me in the house, too. All alone, watching TV...there's the resident malaprop and he says something stupid as usual...and I grab for a cushion to cover my face because I am so embarrassed this buffoon is seen as a representative of America.

15. Bush looks like crap....
Its amazing to think he is not yet 60. He looks worse and worse all the
time. And though one would not believe it possible, his expressions get
more and more bizarre.

22. I cringed at some clips of his speeches where he would pause and...
wait for cheers from the crowd.

Anyone seen Welcome to Mooseport? How Gene Hackman (as the Pres) is surprised at how shitty a golfer he is once the Secret Service agents are pulled out of the trees by his ex-wife?

Reminiscent of Bush's reaction to not seeing loyalty-oath-signing sheep in the audience.

23. I love pictures! Great captions on these. Bush looks terrible. He wants
everyone to love the little cheerleader and almost nobody does anymore. He can hardly even muster a smirk.
