Am I the only one who is sick of "post-crime" press conferences"?

Am I the only one who is sick of "post-crime" press conferences"?
If the sheriff's department or police department has NO COMMENTS to make and does not plan on answering the endless DUMB questions from the press, why bother to even have the conference.

I would prefer that someone just type up a press release, and hand it out to the press..

It's a total waste of time anyway, since all they know is that there are two dead bodies, and they have a suspect.
Just HOW many ways can they spin that? Off the cuff comments at these dog and pony shows often make their way into trials, and can sometimes prejudice the case they are trying to build..

Canada still does it best :)

1. It's a way they don't have to report on Gannon/Guckert
and how the news has turned into propaganda lectures.
