2. Which is why we need to contact McClintock
and urge him to stay in the race to the bitter end.
I listen to these right wing nutjobs out here and they are pissing themselves because McC won't quit. Let's convince him to stick it out

4. Isn't it too late for any of them to quit?
I mean, the ballot's locked down already, right? There might be a certain amount of voter confusion that could shave off enough of a fraction of Schwarzenegger's votes for him to lose no matter if he drops out or not. With the other candidate that dropped out as well (I forget his name, the guy who originally ran against Davis - but doesn't it seem possible that a certain number of them will remember they voted for him in November and just vote for him again?)

15. hearing the RW media support Arnold is really amusing.
And conservative Christians just might sit this one out if not for McClintock.

The RW media uses pretzel logic

McClintock must be related to McCain ...both are trying to destroy the repub party. Both are cokey, both names start with Mc, both know they can't win yet they still act like Hillary and the French.

Like I've always said, if you're going to be a fool, might as well be a stubborn fool.

I just hope he doesn't draw too many votes away from the GOP. We must get rid of Grayout/Bustamante. Our state's survival depends on it.

I cannot express how much this sickens me.

The only good news of this story is the suspect source - CNN.

Since I live in the "Scene of the Crimes," the fact the likely outcome of the stubborness of these Right Wing Zealots - including McClintock - will give us Busty is simply nauseating.

We have a very good chance here to help CA and they are blowing it for all of us. What is most upsetting is that they do not seem to care - yet most of them so piously claim to be such devout christians.

IMHO God gave us all brains to use them. I will never believe that He punishes us for making a reasonable choice for the better good of all - after diligently researching the subject. McClintock cannot win, and a vote for him further punishes us all by giving us the certain horror of someone worse than we have now.

Why won't Tom understand this? Everyone else I know does!

A true conservative would be sensible and vote for the good of society. Backing a sure loser on purity of principal is the mark of a sanctimonious prig.

HE CAN'T WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the question is, do you take a GUARANTEED LOSER (busta-tax-man, or davis), OR do you take your shot with Arnold?

I will give Arnold a shot. He conquered being an immigrant, he learned english, he made millions in business and real estate BEFORE doing movies, he conquered the body building world, he is MENTALLY TOUGH, he DOES NOT PANDER TO UNIONS, he told buffet-to-stuff-it about prop 13 (he has 17 other advisors besides him), he does not need the money or power...HE JUST WANTS TO FIX THE STATE THAT ALLOWED HIM TO WORK HARD AND LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM!!!!

So put that in 12% for mcclintock pipe and smoke it....

9. Quick aside, lies that become truth
One of the callers on Hanninazi's show today claimed she worked in medical research, and that the MALARIA the soldiers are getting is BIOLOGICAL WARFARE on the part of the Saddam loyalists. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Malaria ONLY transmittable by Mosquito BITES? Hanninazi DIDN'T EVEN CORRECT HER.

11. The upside to all of this.....
We'll never have to countenance their BS about competance and principles....that's out the door with Ahnold. I guess when your ideas can't compel the voter's to vote for your party, you have to resort to German bodybuilders.

It's a race to the bottom and the Republicans have a clear advantage.

13. The way the media is trying to determine this election is SICK.
What the hell has Arnold promised them, besides no increase in their property taxes and no progressive taxation?

14. He should be baggering
Schwartzenegger to quit. Sean's politics are much closer to McClintock's than Arnold's. How Sean can fawn over a pro-choice, pro-gun control guy just shows how far the Repukes are willing to go just to have someone with an R next to their name as Governor of CA.
