Need research help...Anti Phelps action alert

If anyone is willing I could use a good researcher, I have NO clue and have spent several hours getting nowhere with this. I have been working on this campaign here in my city http://www.votenomarch1st.org/. We have been doing pretty well considering we had no time to prepare for this. Last week things got ugly. We just got wind of a group, One on One Marketing out of Orlando, Florida. They have started calling under the name of our group and push polling people, being really rude, giving incorrect information and it is beginning to turn our numbers, we were doing well and now it looks like we will lose this. Could anyone tell me how to go about finding these people so we can try to figure this out? We have a small group and we are working until we drop daily so I could really use help here. Anyone? PM me if you need more, I have a few other items that may or may not be of use. THANK YOU.

1. I don't know, but try posting in the Florida forum/group here.

Also, try the old-fashioned approach: Complain to the Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, FTC, FCC.

3. How sure are you about "One on One marketing" in Orlando?

5. Guys name

is Bob, that is all I have with that. The phone number is 407 331 4596. I looked for that and I was also looking for info on a guy who I think was named Bob who broadcasts the Phelps sermons. He apparently lives in Florida and there is also a guy in Colorado but the Florida connection is the one I need for this. I wish I had more. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this and there are several others who will be happy that we at least tried this. I have no clue how to research this kind of thing so much thanks for trying.

Edit I tried One on One and 1 on 1 and came up with nothing as well.

4. My guess is that One-on-One is not their real name

or that there is no such firm, only a conserted group of saboteurs. I just did a yahoo search and got NOTHING. Is it possible that they are a conservative group pretending to be researchers?

I doubt very much it is an actual firm. I think it is highly likely it is a group of Phelps like people who have something to gain by getting this atrocious initiative passed.

My suggestion is to find a good reporter in your area. These people know how to dig for information. The alternative press likes a good story about corrupt right wing christians.

I'm with the other people on this board who say that One on One Marketing is a phony name. However, if they are indeed in Orlando, you may want to call City Hall...they might be a corporation that registered that name in the DBA files.

8. The media is not intereseted.

Our local paper is not local and have been loath to carry much about this at all. LTTE's are the only way we have with the media, local TV is not doing much at all. We are doing it all with phone banks, door to door, flyers, picketing, rallys and GOTV. I will try to contact city hall in Orlando tomorrow, thanks for the advice.

Call your phone company and see if they have one, or ask at the local library.

10. Know what freaks me out?

Phelps goes around saying he's a democrat. Phelps contacting Dean about wanting to work with him.

Is this Rovian bullshit? Or is this out of a David Lynch script?

12. Ha Ha I did not know he contacted Dean.

His web site (yes, I had to go there to find something) called Dean a bunch of nasty things. Phelps has been a Democrat, a Republican and goodness knows what else. I don't think he ran as a Democrat last time but it is hard to keep up with him. If I was not living this I would say it was a Lynch script. Dealing with this issue and the problems we are having with a community who hates the jackass makes me feel like I am in the middle of Rovian bullshit.
